Liebster Awards – 2
The lovely Hasmeet has nominated me for Liebster Award. Her blog, Hasmeet Writes, a blog which I discovered recently is full of positivity about Life, a thing which we often tend to ignore nowadays. We should be grateful for the things we have and her blog reflects that encouraging thought in a unique and beautiful way. As I have been nominated for this award before, I will only answer her questions as they are interesting and I like them.
1. What inspires you the most?
Traveling inspires me the most. New ideas speak to me when I travel, sitting on the window seat and the cold breeze brushing me and my soul all along. I can’t describe how relaxed I feel. I get transported to another world. I have described my feelings on a post I have written a while ago, Journey by Train. So it inspires me the most.
2. What is greatest lesson that you learnt?
Greatest lesson of life – Never take love for granted. We are really blessed to have our parents, who take care of us and show us love. Often, we don’t understand this and learn it’s significance by life experience, sometimes by heart break, sometimes by the sudden demise of someone close and in so many other ways. Life becomes so difficult then. But this is a process which happens in everyone’s life, sooner or later. It makes us realize the humanity latent within us. Love gives great joy but when we don’t show gratitude for what we already have, life makes us suffer only to improve ourselves in future.
3. What are you proud of?
I am proud of so many things. I am proud of myself for who I am. I am proud of my parents who understand me well. I am proud of being born as an Indian. I am proud of its rich heritage, its wisdom in every field found in ancient text, where all my questions regarding life and everything are answered (with reasonable and satisfactory explanation and not just empty words) if you know where to look.
4. What was the turning point in your life?
After graduation, the time when I finished my studies and was facing the harsh realities of the world, in terms of career and just for survival. A great learning experience and turning point of my life as well.
5. Summers or Winters?
Winters. Even though I have chronic cold from childhood, I love everything cold. Now I feel that I have got rid of the cold and my health is better.
6. Introvert or Extrovert?
Introvert. I will talk about it broadly in my upcoming posts.
