Thank you, Nimmi, for choosing me to write a post on “What is love in ten sentences“. Well, this four-lettered- word is so magnanimous and transforming that only ten sentences can’t suffice. However, by my limited wisdom, I have sort of summarized my take on love.
LOVE is the motivating force in the universe. It is the highest miracle. It is the expression of the soul’s relationship with the Almighty. Love connects a mother to a child, a husband and wife, a brother and brother and a man to a stranger. We should learn to love, dare to live love and a will to spread it. Love attracts, love unites. Attraction is a property of love. The principle of attraction can be seen in the cells of the body. Atoms attract other atoms, matter exists, the universe exists. Love is not an intangible entity, but it is something that can be felt deeply, intrinsically. It opens the door of our heart and teaches us to share and care for our fellow beings. Love is capable of transforming man. It is the only emotion that is truly healing.
People interpret love in various ways, but my approach is rather subjective and limited.
Love begins with you
It’ll end in you.
Your presence, your grace
your eyes, your smile.
You open my heart
soothe me, heal me.
You burn the light
of care and compassion.
Love is only you
I love you only…
I guess writing a specific quote is not required as every sentence used in describing love in the beginning, is invariably a quote.
Finally, spreading love, I nominate these nice people to participate in this challenge.
